In Diane Legrand, for example, simply silhouettes that celebrate classic elegance and urban styling tell a story of romance in a glorious mix of boho chic and vintage flair. There are A-lines and princess silhouettes, sleek gowns that are impeccably cut, floral fabrics and glorious laces in the softest shades of pastel rose, Champagne, and the all-essential ivories and whites. Swirling skirts that billow and float made up of layer upon layer of the finest tulle, bodices encrusted with intricate lace motifs that cascade down, threads of crystals forming shoulder caps, illusion back panels and narrow sleeves that show up each embellishment.
Special features in the new Lisa Donetti, Italian-inspired collection include floral accents and unusual decorative elements, while Novabella, the portfolio’s young fresh range, is characterised by light and flowing fabrics.
