Barrier-free Exhibition Grounds

Arrival by car - for maximum flexibility

North Rhine-Westphalia’s excellent motorway network plan makes travel by car easy and comfortable and allows you to enjoy maximum flexibility on site. Take the major Rhine-Ruhr motorways A52, A3, A40 and A42 to reach Messe Essen. The signs for the exhibition centre will guide you easily to our site where you find ample parking spaces in parking house 6. From there, you can reach the venue easily within walking distance.

Arrival by rail - comfortable and flexible

You can reach Messe Essen quickly by rail - with no environmental impact - and make good use of your travel time. The ideally connected Essen Central Railway Station is a hub for over 120 daily ICE, InterCity, EuroCity and InterRegio connections in all directions. From there, you can reach us in only 5 minutes with the Underground line 11.
 

Eating & drinking

At the EBW there is time for enjoyable breaks. There is a varied and extensive range of cold and warm dishes. At the wok and pasta stations, guests can ask the cooks to allow disabled access.

For a small appetite in between or a relaxing coffee break, there is a coffee and tea lounge in the exhibition hall. In addition, small snacks can be served in the lounge.

In our champagne lounge, buyers receive free alcoholic refreshments and canapés for the duration of the show.

European Bridal Week (EBW) is a trade event, and is not open to members of the public. This event is attended exclusively by retailers and press.

Please register yourself online via our registration button at our website.

Entry is free of charge for retailers and press. It is possible to register on the day, but we strongly advise that you register in advance to avoid queues at the registration desks.

One month in advance of the show you will be able to download the floor plan at our website. You can also collect a complimentary BridalBiz show guide when you arrive, which includes detailed information about our fair and our exhibitors.

Yes, when arriving at the venue you will receive your FREE Wi-Fi code.

Yes, there are cloakrooms, situated in the main entrance of hall 3, entrance west. The Cloakroom is open during show hours and costs are € 1 per item for coats and luggage. Please be aware they cannot store cameras, laptop equipment or any other electronic devices.

There is an ATM cash machine located approximate 50 meters on the left hand side from entrance West, before the entrance of Hall 1 south.

Yes, EBW is accessible for disabled visitors, and is able to provide wheelchairs to those in need, free of charge. Click on the link for more information on accessibility.
